ADVANCED DIAGNOSTICS AND PREVENTION
Spinal decompression is a non-invasive mechanical procedure performed within our office to help alleviate back pain. It involves gently stretching the spine to take pressure off the spinal discs (the cushions that separate the vertebrae in the spine). By relieving this pressure, bulging discs can retract back into place which takes pressure off the nerves in the spine. By decompressing the spine, it permits water, oxygen and other fluids to work their way back into the discs allowing them to heal naturally.
We specialize in correcting your body’s misalignments. Our goal is to ensure that your spine and the rest of your body are working harmoniously. To do so, we will help you develop a plan that will require light stretching, some exercise, chiropractic care, and a healthy diet.
Massage therapy is the manual manipulation of soft body tissues (muscle, connective tissue, tendons and ligaments) to enhance a person’s health and well-being. There are many types of massage therapy methods (also called modalities). People seek massage therapy for a variety of reasons; for example, to reduce stress and anxiety, to relax muscles, to rehabilitate injuries, to reduce pain and to promote overall health and wellness.
KT TAPE STRAPPING
Kinesiology Taping is a precise rehabilitative taping technique that is designed to facilitate the body’s natural healing process while providing support and stability to muscles and joints. This technique allows the body’s normal range of motion as well as providing extending soft tissue manipulation to prolong the benefits of manual therapy administered within the clinical setting.
PRP or platelet rich plasma injections have been around for decades. It has been helping athletes to heal from joint, tendon, and ligament injuries and is now being applied to beauty treatments. This non-surgical, age-defying wrinkle treatment pushes PRP, derived from your own blood, into your skin to stimulate collagen production, to deliver fresh, healthy, younger skin.
Stretching is vital to helping your muscles remain flexible, strong, and healthy. Flexibility allows our joints to maintain a full range of motion, which, in turn, keeps our muscles from becoming shortened, tight, and tender to move. At In Touch Wellness Center, we offer Active Release Technique (ART) stretching, which utilizes both tissue manipulation and movement to improve muscle health.
